Shown below are some of the engines currently completed, under rebuild or in stock at Marine Power Services. All engines shown in the 'In Stock' section are available in their current state for self completion or recondtioned to your specification. During reconditioning we will add a selection of photos showing the current progress from start to finish.
All prices shown below are for restored engines with marine gearboxes, All engines are available in their current condition, please contact us for more details and prices. Price includes 12 or 24v electric start but alternators incure an extra charge. **Marine Power Services is not currently a VAT registered company**

Dorman 2DSM - Year of Manufacture circa 1935
Engine current condition - Completed.
Dorman 2DSM. 10hp @ 1000rpm, This engine is a genuine marine engine produced by W H Dorman & co Ltd of stafford, This engine was removed from a Dutch scout training vessel which it had been powering since new. It was only removed due to legislation changes deaming it to small for the 70ft vessel it had been powering for 60 years. It was replaced by a Dorman 4DSM.........
This engine has undergone a major inspection and service.

Lister JP3. 27hp @ 1000rpm, This engine is an industrial version of the JP range of engines and will be fully reconditioned and marinised. It will be completed with Lister pattern wet exhaust and silencer, new PRM 260 2:1 ratio gearbox, and finished with electric start.

Lister FR3M. 24hp @ 1500rpm, This engine is a genuine marine unit and is complete with the orignal lister fitted blackstone 1:1 ratio gearbox and will be completed with electric and raised hand start. The FR "Freedom Range" was the last model of Lister engine to feature compression change over valves for ease of starting.
